Leicester Mercury Newspaper

The Leicester Mercury published my letter the next day.  Thanks Mr Oliver and his team!

Published on 28 October 2022.

The letter is in the lower right corner and is best read below the snapshot of the page.

Soon after a recent visit to the Leicester Space Centre I created a blog. My aim was to capture some of the numerous interesting items for my later enjoyment.  I am a retired social psychologist and space has been my non-work interest during my working life and since.  I live near Oxford and the train journey took seven hours there and back and the trip involved an overnight hotel stay.

Many of the photographs shown inevitably include visitors.  Many photographs also do not do justice to the topic in hand. Readers are invited to contact me via the website if they would like to help improve it.

Perhaps readers are planning a visit and may like to ask me for one or two themes to photograph and/or items being sold.  Others may have already been and have photographs etc they would like to share. Tips for the later enjoyment of visitors.

Any response will be gratefully acknowledged.  Every response will receive a reply. All residents of Leicester must be very proud of their Space Centre.
