movies you love and games you play. Discover the real science behind the

Meet Bob Brechin, Palito/s Lead Designer from 1967 to 1984. When
Star Wars was released in 1977 the manufacturing licence went to a
company called Palitoy; based in Coalville in Leicestershire. ln 1978
Palitoy employed about a thousand people. By November of that year,
annual sales had topped 20 million(over £88 million today).
One show/talk is included in your ticket, and you will have selected this when

Join our special guests, Jake Lunt Davies and JAKe Detonator for a chat and Q&A.
Jake is a creature concept designer who has worked on many Star Wars films and
shows. He is credited with designing BB-8 and the Porgs, amongst many others.
He is joined by Star Wars artist and illustrator of 'How To Speak Astromech
with BB-8 'JAKe, as they talk all things creattve and what goes into drawing this
amazing universe of creatures.

Artist JAKe Detonator has created some of the best Star Wars art for Lucasfilm,
Disney and the ever-popular books such as How to Speak Wookiee, and
How to Speak Droid. He also appeared at the Celebration lV and Celebration Europe art
shows, and he tells me that his artwork has been seen on all kinds of merchandise
